This program is in line with the standards and expectations of the Quebec Soccer Federation and the Canadian Soccer Association.
Created as a bridge between our Micro-Soccer and our Development Program, this Introduction Program teaches young players how to train the right way and prepares them for what lies ahead. Our technical staff members are heavily involved in this program and ensure that the players get the most out of their experience.
All selected players will train together in one big group. We want to make sure that each player has access to the same training sessions, the same facilities, and the same coaches.
In training, these are not teams, they are training groups.
The only objectives at this age are to offer the players a fun and positive environment, which will hopefully create a passion for the game and a life-long soccer player. And to teach the players basic technical fundamentals to prepare them for the U8 Development program.
There are no standings or stats kept at this age, it is only parents and coaches that put emphasis on winning, at the detriment of developing quality players in the future.
During the winter season, teams benefit from a minimum of one session per week, which will be led by a technical staff member. Teams may also participate in the ARS Laval winter leagues.
During the summer season, players commit to training a minimum of once per week with our technical staff and playing one game per week.
