The U14 AA season is the first season where wins and loss begin to matter. Even though we always encourage our players to do their best to try to win, prior to U14 winning is very low in our list of objectives.
The U14AA teams have the objective to qualify for AAA participation at the U15 level. Our technical staff members are heavily involved in the training and development of the teams and supervise all aspects of the team with the teams’ coaches.
During the winter season, teams benefit from a minimum of two sessions per week, where a technical staff member will be at at least one of the two sessions. The program also contains fitness sessions and between 5 to 10 friendly matches.
During the summer season, players commit to training a minimum of 3 sessions per week. Our technical staff will be at at least two training sessions per week, in addition to being present on the bench of a great majority of games.
A mandatory pre-season camp, locally or abroad, is held for players in the U14 Elite Prospects program. This camp helps prepare the teams for the upcoming season, while potentially exposing them to soccer cultures that they weren’t familiar with. There is a substantial amount of growth that occurs during these camps.
